CAREFREE

I turn back

And see those days

We were carefree

Roaming in the hallways

And much to our distress

Came the exams 

Which made our moms

Slam the door to freedom

In a blink of an eye

The exams were over

And we had a makeover

Dyed our hair

Got our ears pierced

And made our ways to the college

There we made new friends

Who stood by us at hard times

Made happy memories

And time passed.....

We became alone again 

Our carefree days were gone

We got gnawed by responsibilities

Which made every minute count

I turn back and see those days

Where we were carefree
